In recent years an increasing number of brides and others in the bridal party – male and female — are adding to their wedding plans improved smiles that will be captured in photos and videos on that historic day and saved forever. Contributing to the growing popularity are TV makeover shows, the ability to get dramatic results in a shorter time, and better affordability. Today, Orthodontics isn’t just for kids.
Orthodontists Dr. Andrew Chase and his father, Dr. Robert Chavez, who operate the 9-office practice ARCH Orthodontics in communities south of Boston and on Cape Cod, have devised a Bridal Package that includes a teeth alignment regimen, climaxing with teeth whitening.
Dr. Chavez, who founded the practice 38 years ago, says, “We enjoy helping the soon-to-be new couple begin a new, happy life together with new things to smile about. Why not have new smiles, too? The result is cleaner, healthier gums, a better-fitting bite – and dramatically beautiful wedding photos. Drs. Chase and Chavez and their team uses aligners and braces of varying styles made of high-tech materials to gradually move teeth until they are straight and/or there is better spacing and ‘bite.’. “You can’t rush perfection,” he says, “but we can speed things up a bit to get closer to our goal of perfect smiles.” He says he chose to focus on Orthodontics because it “integrates art and science with the needs and desires of the patient.”
Among state-of-the-art brace choices offered are clear ceramic, behind-the-teeth designs, and invisible braces, including Invisalign. Others are the new ClearCorrect style that uses a series of clear, custom, removable aligners, and Incognito lingual braces.
Since each individual is different, a complimentary initial consultation with the Orthodontist can determine if the patient is a good candidate and will be ready in time for the big day. In
some cases, even if the prescribed Orthodontic treatment isn’t completed by the wedding day, practically invisible aligners can be removed for photos.

When both the bride and groom have a full case Orthodontic treatment, they will receive $750 off plus the bleaching kit. (Wedding invitation must be presented on the first visit.) Orthodontic treatment plan must begin by December 31, 2012.
