DR. ANDREW CHASE IS ASSOCIATE PRODUCER OF OFF-BROADWAY DARK HOLIDAY COMEDY: ‘Let’s Kill Grandma This Christmas’

(Issued Winter 2012-13) — If you’re in New York City between now and January 6, 2013, you may want to attend the off-Broadway play ‘Let’s Kill Grandma This Christmas.’ The reason you may be interested is that a well-known local Orthodontist, Dr. Andrew Chase, is an Associate Producer of the play, which opened December 3^rd at the Theatre at St. Clement’s (423 West 46th Street).

“It’s a dark comedy revolving around a family possessed by greed that plots and schemes murder in order to get Grandma’s money. It’s not really a play for kids,” says Dr. Chase.

The play stars some well-known stage and screen actors: Roxie Lucas (B’way: Damn Yankees, My Favorite Year, Harrigan ‘n Hart); Kevin O’Donnell, Cohasset, Mass. native (Film: The Word; TV: “Unforgettable”); Adam Mucci (HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”); Katie Webber (B’way: Catch Me If You Can, TV: “Smash,” “American Idol”), Brandi Nicole Wilson (Love Me Tinder, MITF Best Actress Nominee.

The play was written Brian Gianci of Winchester, Mass., and is directed by John Dapolito. Robert Nicotra, a friend of Dr. Chase is executive producer. While he previously has been involved in film, this is his first off-Broadway involvement.

The play’s schedule is as follows: Monday at 7 pm; Wednesday – Friday at 8 pm; Saturday at 2 pm & 8 pm; Sunday at 3 pm & 7:30 pm (No show December 24; Added show December 26 at 2 pm; December 31 curtain at 2 pm).
