You Get One Entry for Each New Patient Referral Before March 31
Just like humans, adult gorillas have 32 teeth. But don’t try to count them!
One lucky ARCH Orthodontics patient will win the chance of a lifetime – to actually attend a gorilla’s oral hygiene exam.
To be entered in the drawing, a patient will receive one entry for each new patient he/she refers to ARCH from now until March 31, 2013.
One patient will be selected and invited for an exciting, rare up-close opportunity to watch as a zookeeper does a training session and performs oral hygiene care activities for a gorilla at Zoo New England’s Franklin Park Zoo in Boston.
The goals are to raise awareness about the importance of good oral hygiene for all and good braces care for Orthodontic patients — and to educate about protecting our environment and wildlife. The contest also calls attention to National Children’s Dental Health Month in February.
Most people aren’t aware that oral health care is an important part of the care that the animals receive at the Zoo. Some animals are trained to allow their teeth to be brushed.
The contest is sponsored by ARCH Orthodontics and Zoo New England (www.zoonewengland.org ) now celebrating its 100th anniversary.
