Announcement Marks October as National Orthodontic Health Month

 

(Issued FALL 2014) — October is National Orthodontic Health Month and to call attention to the importance of properly aligned teeth and a great smile, ARCH Orthodontics has been named, for the fifth consecutive year, the Official Orthodontist of the Miss Massachusetts Scholarship Foundation. Miss Massachusetts 2015 is Lauren Kuhn of Boston. Lauren, an accomplished pianist, is a second-year student at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.   While majoring in biology at Gonzaga University in her native Washington state, her undergraduate studies took her to Turkey and Zambia. There she became passionate about bringing high quality dental care to underserved communities.

Lauren was 4^th runner-up in the Miss America Pageant held in Atlantic City in September.

ARCH’s Dr. Robert Chavez and Dr. Andrew Chase annually support the non-profit organization which is dedicated to helping young women recognize their potential. Five years ago, ARCH became the first Miss Massachusetts Orthodontic sponsor in the organization’s history.

ARCH Orthodontics has 9 offices south of Boston and on Cape Cod.
