Lauren Kuhn, Miss Massachusetts 2015, Helps Call Attention to Importance of Orthodontic Health

ARCH Is The Official Orthodontist of Miss Mass. for 5^th Year 

(Issued Fall 2014) —   October is National Orthodontic Health Month and to call attention to the importance of properly aligned teeth and a great smile, ARCH Orthodontics welcomed Miss Massachusetts 2015, Lauren Kuhn, to town to tape a cable TV program.  This is the fifth consecutive year that ARCH is the Official Orthodontist of the Miss Massachusetts Scholarship Foundation. During the program, ‘Prime Time Local’ hosted by local resident and Marketing/PR consultant Stan Hurwitz, the doctors discussed the best age for an initial Orthodontic evaluation (age 7), the positive impact that a healthy smile has on a person’s self-confidence and outlook throughout life, and the practice’s long-time involvement in communal activities – a culture of giving back to the communities they serve.

Lauren is a second-year student at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.  While majoring in biology at Gonzaga University in her native Washington state, her undergraduate studies took her to Turkey and Zambia. There she became passionate about bringing high quality dental care to underserved communities.  Lauren was 4^th runner-up in the Miss America Pageant held in Atlantic City in September.  She is an accomplished pianist.

ARCH’s Dr. Robert Chavez and Dr. Andrew Chase annually support the non-profit organization which is dedicated to helping young women recognize their potential. Five years ago, ARCH became the first Miss Massachusetts Orthodontic sponsor in the organization’s history.
