DR. RICHARD ALEXANDER JOINS ARCH ORTHODONTICS

Brings 30+ Years of Experience Improving Patients’ Smiles

BOSTON, MA (ISSUED FALL 2012) —  Dr. Richard Alexander, with over 30 years of experience as an Orthodontist in Massachusetts and Hawaii, has joined the practice of ARCH Orthodontics. The announcement was made by Dr. Andrew Chase and his father, Dr. Robert Chavez who founded ARCH 38 years ago.

On his appointment, Dr. Alexander said, “I love working with patients of all ages, teaming up to achieve the very best treatment outcomes. I enjoy making people smile more, which indicates that they have higher self-esteem and feel better about themselves.”

Dr. Chavez said, “I’ve known Dr. Alexander for many years, both professionally and through involvement in our professional organizations. He shares our goal of providing the highest quality Orthodontic care, to be the best Orthodontic group practice, and to give our patients the best possible smile for the rest of their lives.” Dr. Chavez says that today about 25% of ARCH’s patients are adults.

A native of Medford, Mass., Dr. Alexander earned his undergraduate degree at Columbia University and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and its School of Orthodontics where he taught for over a decade. He has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics since 1989. Only 15% of Orthodontists carry this title that signifies the highest plateau of achievement in education, evaluation, excellence, and ethics.

Among Dr. Alexander’s outside interests are coaching youth football, golf weekends, and musical events, especially involving his daughter’s band.
